Sreenivas Prasad Prayaga

Sreenivas Prasad Prayaga has nearly four decades of experience in the steel and mining industry, both in India and internationally. He had a successful and results-oriented career spanning over 33 years with Steel Authority of India and ArcelorMittal, where he gained extensive experience in commissioning and operating large-scale mining projects in India, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Liberia.

Prasad has lived and worked globally, holding key general management positions focused on mining operations. He has been associated with Synergy Capital since 2018 and formally joined the company in 2021. At Synergy Capital, his key responsibility is evaluating investment opportunities in the mining sector. Notable achievements include leading large investments in two mining companies, demonstrating his expertise and impact in the sector.

Sreenivas Prasad Prayaga holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mining Engineering from the Indian School of Mines (1983).

Outside of his professional life, Prasad enjoys cinema, cricket, reading, and Indian music.
