MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT

INTRODUCTION

The following statement sets out the steps that Synergy Capital has taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

Synergy Capital is committed to:

  • Ensuring slavery or human trafficking is not taking place in our own supply chain.

  • For those companies in which funds managed by Synergy Capital hold investments, exercising our influence to encourage adoption of measures to eliminate slavery and human trafficking.

Synergy Capital has been a signatory of the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) since 2021. It is committed to implementing the PRI's Six Principles with a view to aligning the investment activities of funds managed or advised by Synergy Capital ("Synergy Funds") to the interests of wider stakeholders. In addition, during the Synergy Funds' investment process Synergy Capital takes into account the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, including "the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights" (principle one), and "the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour" (principle four).

ORGANISATION STRUCTURE AND SUPPLY CHAINS

Synergy Capital is a private equity fund and strategic advisory firm headquartered in Dubai and regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority which holds a Category 3C license for fund management. We manage funds investing in public and private companies worldwide.

As an investment business, our most material suppliers are professional service firms such as lawyers, accountants and corporate finance advisors, which we consider to have a low risk of human trafficking or modern slavery in their own operations.

OUR COMMITMENT TO ETHICAL TRADING

As a firm, we take a zero tolerance approach to slavery, human trafficking and forced labour in our business or supply chain.

Our policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
