Ramona Cruz

Mona Cruz is a highly experienced accounting professional with over 15 years of continuous experience. As the Firm’s Financial Controller, she oversees the Finance and Accounting department, prepares accurate financial reports, and ensures timely regulatory compliance. Mona also serves as Risk Manager and Deputy MLRO/CO.

Mona joined Synergy Capital in March 2018 and has progressed from a Finance Assistant to her current leadership role. She is proficient in all aspects of Financial and Management Accounting and has worked across diverse industries, including business process outsourcing, shared services, hospitality, aviation, and retail.

Prior to joining Synergy Capital, Mona was Assistant Finance Manager at Global Virtuoso, a business process outsourcing firm specializing in aviation clients. In that role, she managed the Finance and Accounting department, ensured timely financial reporting, led daily accounting operations, developed the company’s accounting manual, liaised with government authorities, and oversaw business registration for new clients. She also served as interim Human Resource and Facilities Manager for a sister company.

Mona was honored with the 'Extra Mile Award' in recognition of her outstanding contributions at Global Virtuoso and the wider group, reflecting her dedication, initiative, and commitment to excellence. Mona holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Central Luzon State University.

Mona enjoys traveling and discovering new places. Originally from the Philippines, she now resides in Dubai, UAE.
