AP Choudhary

AP Choudhary is a seasoned executive with over 40 years of operational and management experience within the steel industry.  During his long career in Indian and international steel companies, AP Choudhary led the variety of functions of operations, investment projects, plant restructurings, commercial and strategic management/policy development. His work experience in several companies across South East Asia, UAE, other countries, helped him in acquiring a global view & expertise to support businesses in steel sector, power, mining, project management and other manufacturing segment for its turn around, performance audit, cost optimisation and also O&M.

AP Choudhary held the positions of CEO and Chairman of a steel plant -Rashtriya Ispat Nigam (RINL), CEO of G/GJ Steel, Thailand. Prior to this, Choudhary also led the companies as Chairman of the Bird Group of Companies, Eastern Investments, and Orissa Minerals Development Company apart from Board member of ACREINDIA (ARCs company) and others. Prior to his tenure at RINL, Choudhary was an ED responsible for managing key portfolios for the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL). Also led the execution of a green field steel plant of National Mineral Development Corporation as Principal Advisor. 

AP Choudhary has a Post Graduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design and Analysis) from Regional Engineering College. s website
