Synergy Capital, a rapidly growing global alternative investment manager specialising in industrials and infrastructure, announces the appointment of Deepak Dalvi as Partner, working across Dubai and Singapore.
Dalvi brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across industrial, infrastructure and consumer businesses. At Synergy, he will help source and execute investments across private equity and private credit, and work with portfolio companies on growth.

Most recently, Dalvi was Managing Director of Vopak India Private Limited, where he ran the company's growth strategy and held full profit-and-loss responsibility. Under his leadership, the business grew from a single site in 2015 to 21 locations and from roughly 120 employees to 4,500 before listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India in 2025.

Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Unilever, where he ran the global tea and coffee business, and at Johnson & Johnson and The Coca-Cola Company, where his work spanned cross-border M&A, brand building and commercial leadership across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Dalvi holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from V.J.T.I., Mumbai, and an MBA in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management in Manila. He has completed executive education at Harvard Business School and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and participated in the Freeman Scholar Exchange Programme at Columbia Business School in New York.
